Compatibility
iblinds is a Z-Wave plus certified device and will work with most Z-Wave enabled smart home controllers. All Z-Wave products should work together with each other regardless of brand, including backward-compatibility between versions.
Note: The iblinds device may default to a generic Z-Wave Switch, allowing the window blinds to exclusively open and close
Wink
Note: At this current time iblinds does not support Wink’s implementation of Generic Z-Wave Shade and Wink does not allow iblinds to default to a generic Z-Wave Switch.
Voice Assistants (e.g. Amazon Alexa, Google Home)
Smart assistants are NOT Z-Wave hubs so they won’t work directly with any Z-Wave devices. But you can use a compatible Z-Wave hub with smart speaker integration to control your blinds with voice control. These include the Homeseer, Hubitat, SmartThings, Vera, Home Assistant, and others.
